INTRODUCTION:

The Tanzania Roads Association (TARA), which is also a National Committee of the World Road Association (PIARC) under the Ministry of Works in Tanzania, in collaboration with the Tanzania Transportation Technology Transfer (TanT2) Centre, Ministry of Transport in Tanzania, Tanzania National Roads Agency  (TANROADS), Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA), the Roads Fund Board in Tanzania, Engineer Registration Board (ERB), Tanzania with other local and international institutions, is organizing the Training on Management of Construction Projects Contracts for Transport Infrastructures to be held from 15th – 19th September 2025 at  Gold Crest Hotel, Arusha, Tanzania.

This five-days intensive Training offers participants an in-depth exploration of modern theories, knowledge, technologies and best practices in Management of Construction Projects Contracts for Transport Infrastructures using FIDIC contract standards tailored for roads, rail, aviation, and port projects. Participants will gain insights into the pivotal role of construction in the project delivery lifecycle, enhanced through real-world examples and case studies. The curriculum emphasizes a reliable project delivery methodology, equipping delegates with key methods, tools, and techniques employed by leading companies and experts in the field. Additionally, the program will cover topics on EPC Contracts and Project Financing, offering a comprehensive understanding of critical aspects in Management of Construction Projects Contracts.
